You don't tell us, which OS you're on. Windows? Linux? On Linux
you should definetely try to set the locale to UTF-8. This
would presumably be "da_DK.UTF-8". Some libraries etc. have
problems with obsolete encodings, such as ISO-8859-x. HTH.
