Something like 50 years! :-) I worked as a Software Engineer in
various fields until I retired a few years ago. Coming from a Unix
background I have become rather a Linux command line junkie.

make sure to try.)
Yes, as far as I can tell.
I have now got text objects working as they should - I think.
Can someone tell me what objects do have in-canvas editing of text
ability?
