I'm running Ekiga 3.2.7 on Debian GNU/Linux Squeeze system.
When run Ekiga I get message at status line:
SIP:csanyipal ekiga net can't be registered
(or similar because I must translate this from Hungarian)
I made already this SIP address, so why can't I register it running Ekiga?
Your address does exist on ekiga.net. But there is some error when you want
to connect with ekiga to ekiga.net.
To fin out the precise error, you need to look into the -d 4 output, or send
it to us, see
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Debugging_Ekiga#How_to_get_a_debug_output.
I attached the output.txt file creating with command:
ekiga -d 4 2>output.txt
Today, when I connect to 500 ekiga net, it was successfully for the first time
but for the second time it wasn't.
When I want to connect to 501 ekiga net, I can't because the
remote site cancelled the connection.
In the output are messages about unsuccessfull connection to 501 ekiga net
It turns out that the error is that you do not have a common *audio*
codec. You should check on pcmu and/or (I do not know which one) pcma.
ekiga.net just closes the connection in this case, this is the only
information ekiga has, that's why it has not shown an error.
