Joachim, it would be great if you could stick to one of the sections
you were responsible of (choose your preferred one) and then go for
writing and reviewing until you get the section done.
Choose the section and then ask all the questions.
Thanks.

Second call.
I can write pretty fast, but I'm just making stuff up here.
Could people who KNOW stuff or who have ideas of what should be mentioned
get it into the pages now please?
Eg:
GNOME is a project to create a free, simple, and attractive desktop
environment aimed at the general user. Hand in hand with this is the GNOME
development platform, an extensive framework for building applications that
integrate well into the the desktop, primarily GNOME but also other free
desktop environments, MS WIndows, and OS X.
Is this true? accurate? correct?
Like I said, I'm making it up. I have time to write, but not to research and
go digging in past web pages that are probably out of date anyway.
