I was thinking it would be interesting to interview local GNOME user groups[1] to highlight where and how GNOME is used. We could post the interviews on the Foundation blog and/or on the interviewer's blog.
What are some interesting questions?
(Brainstorming here ...)
What's unique about your user group?
How often do you meet or talk?
Have you met new people?
How often do new people get involved?
How did you get started?
How is GNOME used in your country?
What is the biggest challenge GNOME faces in your country?
What is the biggest challenge GNOME solves in your country?
What excited people about FOSS in your country?
What would you like to see from the greater GNOME community?
What would you like to say to the greater GNOME community?
