Yes, indeed.

Then maybe the move from projects.gnome.org to the wiki was a step
backward. The consistency would have been achievable on
projects.gnome.org too. But it's a Git repo.

And when thinking about it, there was much more information on
projects.gnome.org. For example for reporting bugs, it was usually
explained to search the bugzilla before filing a new bug, with a short
explanation of the best practices.

For the development section, there was some incentives to contribute,
with sentences like "The project development relies on voluntary
contributions and everyone is invited to help."

So yes, I can understand why the default wiki template is not ideal.
