Because mozilla does not have an api to "import" some pref from a js
file. If you load defaultprefs.js prefs it will try to write them in the
same file. We could file an RFE ... but you would still not solve the
problem.
That wouldnt solve this specific problem too, you need to "import" them
every time anyway.
My head hurt so I could be missing something but ... if we would load
the user prefs.js after we have set our defaults, we could make it work
correctly.
