Sure. Sounds like we're on the same page, and as usual, you're a step
ahead.

I should note that claiming that GNOME has a 'global model' is probably
dangerous and inaccurate at this time. 'a model that exists in the head
of a handful of UI guys and even fewer developers' is not a global
model. Once such a model is actually written down and established, then
yes, this totally makes sense.
