I've been getting frequent crashes, with what I think is Bugbuddy
popping up a window even before the browser disappears; many have come
when I simply hit ^T to open another tab.
But the crashes have been with Galeon, and the bugzilla reports
in my email say Epiphany. One of them (353503) even has Reinout's name on
it.
What's more, they generally talk of theme changes. I don't do
themes -- nor even know for sure what they are; whatever the default is,
I leave it.
I do keep both Epiphany and Galeon on the same window in my
Workspace Switcher, on the bottom panel of a Gnome display in Fedora 8;
is that bad?
I also normally keep several tabs open in each, and often add
another temporary tab, into which I paste a URL.
I've been doing all this for years out of mind. The frequent
crashes began only quite recently, well after a fresh install of F8 (into
which I copied a lot of data, including .galeon and .epiphany files, from
F7 on the same machine; I also combined these with similar files from
other machines also running F7 or F8).
