how to do this. I also wrote an extension in python that adds/removes
whitelisted hosts to the cookie manager; however I haven't bothered to
release it because it's still a bit messy (the user still has to set their
cookie preferences in about:config).

I wish, but that's a pretty major undertaking! Maybe it will be possible
with QT4 and its glib-integrated mainloop... it will still be a huge
undertaking however.
