I believe the best way to go about this is to launch WindowMaker using
dbus-launch (just add dbus-launch before WindowMaker in the command line
you're using to launch it) - this way your session will have a dbus
session and any software using dbus will work correctly.

If you prefer to have dbus just for Epiphany dbus-launch epiphany should
do it.
