In fact I am lost, because I don't know how to tell it's a plopper bug.
Launchpad bug points to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10881
but this bug is about "Cairo bug when scaling 1x1 images", and I don't
see why it relates to "red haze" problem, althought you attached a "red
haze" example.
I opened the example with pdfedit, to find a 1x1 indication in the
source, but couldn't find it.
Do you have any pointer that could lead me to a better understanding of
the problem (prior step to the patch :)
