[Evolution] gdk-pixbuf not found???

Hi there,

I'm trying to compile bonobo prior to compiling Evolution!  I am
running RH 6.2 and have Helix-Gnome!

When I try to ./configure bonobo-0.12 I get the following error

checking for GDK_PIXBUF - version >= 0.6.0... no
*** The gdk-pixbuf-config script installed by GDK_PIXBUF could not be found
*** If GDK_PIXBUF was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GDK_PIXBUF_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to gdk-pixbuf-config.
configure: error: Need gdk-pixbuf!

However, rpm reports that I have gdk-pixbuf-0.7.0.0_helix_2

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'd REALLY love to take a look at Evolution.  Sounds like 
just what I need/want!
