[Evolution] unicode

I get these messages:

camel-WARNING **: Cannot create charset conversion from windows-1257 to UTF-8:
Invalid argument

camel-WARNING **: Cannot convert 'windows-1257' to 'UTF-8', message index may be
corrupt

camel-WARNING **: Cannot create charset conversion from iso8859-1 to UTF-8:
Invalid argument


Why can't it convert iso8859-1? I understand that it may not know windows-1257,
but iso8859-1 is a common encoding.
If I want to support windows-1257, should I add it to libunicode? If so,
whom should I contact?
