No, Microsoftian would require you to enter SMTP addresses in Exchange's
goofy Mail Address format, probably explicitly stating the outbound
routing path, like a UUCP address.

The way he's trying to address mail is just _wrong_. username host is not
a valid address. If anything, maybe Evo should expand @domain if @domain
regex matches the local system's domainname. However, mail addressed to
user host should never hit an SMTP server and try to be delivered.
Having evo expand would be good; consider situations where you've got
offices isolated from the internet, perhaps not relying on having a
complete domain name. I know it's not standard but it does happen, I'm
willing to bet. I know I myself have considered that scenario to be a
solution to too many "I can't get to CNN or Yahoo" complaints. ;-)
