Hmm, that shouldn't be so bad at all.  How are you importing, via the
import utility?

Are you using nfs?  I was playing with a 10MB or so mailbox earlier, and
expunges and what not are pretty fast (like a couple of seconds).  And
basically it should scale reasonably linear.  Maybe its indexing or
something causing a big problem.

Yep, although i think in the 0.9 version changing it later doesn't work,
its on the advanced tab, or when creating a new account you can set up
some stuff with it.
