Hi-
One thing I would really like to have is the ability to have part of
a
message quoted in the reply. So, if I select some text in the
original
message and hit reply, the composer would come up with that part of
the
message quoted (and with lines re-justified as necessary). If I hit
reply without anything selected, then the whole message is quoted in
the
reply just as it is now.
Sounds like a nice, blue-sky usability feature.
Yeah, a guy can dream...
Oh, one minor thing on the last couple of RedHat 6 snapshots. The
delete button in the toolbar doesn't seem to work.
In what situations? It works ok here with a direct local folder.
Hmm, for me with any local folders (including inbox) it doesn't. Button
activates when you press it but you don't get any line through the
message. Delete key and ^D (and delete from Message menu or right mouse
context menu) all work as always. My local folders are updated via pop
[and filters] and are mbox format. I'm running Evo
9.0[+cvs.2001.03.16.09.00] from RedCarpet snapshots. The last few days
I've noticed this. I can't think of anything I've changed except
updating with RedCarpet (according to RedCarpet I'm up to date with
RedHat 6.2, Ximian Gnome Desktop and Evo Snapshots).
