You might pass patches to freebsd-ports FreeBSD org and ade freebsd org
to include in the ports tree, until 1.0.4 is released....

(or post them).  I was having a devil of a time finding the CVS fixes
since no one posted what files were patched.  And evolution-patches
doesn't seem to have a web accessible archive :-(
