Where do I set the default browser that Evolution opens up http links in
? I'm currently using Evolution 1.0.8
Thats an Gnome Setting, nothing related to Evolution.
Gnome 1: Check the Gnome Control Center.
Gnome 2: Not yet implemented in the CC -- IMHO you will have to edit the
file ~/.gnome/Gnome manually, section [URL Handlers].
I would also like Opera to handle my browser needs linked from
Evolution.
In my user dir under /.gnome, my Gnome file shows the following line:
default-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
When replacing that file with the follow, it does not work:
default-show=opera "%s"
Try typing "opera -help" to see the proper argument format.
I suggest using this:
default-show=/usr/bin/opera -newwindow %s
