I just learned that in the usr/home/evolution/<addr,cont, etc> directory
you should be able to delete the address.db, contacts.db and then
reinstall, maybe just delete usr/home/evolution to make sure. This is
convenient when you want to overrite the existing db files with exported
outlook folders as well (using the outport app which converts them to
evolution compatible formats).
good luck

Hello All,
How does one remove all data, uninstall evolution and do a fresh install?
I ahve tried rpm -e evolution, evolution-pilot, evolution-link. But when I
reinstall all the old data is there. It was duplicate entries in contacts
and
the calendar. This is why I want to remove it, and reinstall using all the
date on my clie to repopulate the files.
ANy help appreciated,
Keith
