[Evolution] sending mail

I am using Evolution 0.13.  My ISP requires SMTP password auth for me to
send my mail.

I have checked off "Remember Password" and the next time I launch
Evolution and send my mail I have to re-enter my password.  Why?

I don't have to re-enter my password to get my mail.

Also, whenever I relaunch evolution I get the welcome window.  


Any thought's??
