they end up in Trash presumablky because you 'moved' the messages to
another folder. Move is a Copy and Delete.
1. Copy message from folder A to folder B
2. delete message from folder A
due to the way things work, this means that a copy of the message ends
up in Trash.
double-check your filter action as to where you have it set to move
messages to and re-check that folder. I'm sure that it is there.

Folks, a quick filtering question:
Is there a limit to the number of filtering criteria one can use for a
given filter name (assuming that "if any criteria" is selected for the
filter title in question)?
I've been trying to set up filters more efficiently by grouping several
addresses under one label (different people in the same department),
then using the "if any criteria" setting. However, it seems as though
once I have more than three or four addresses listed under the same
filter title, the email goes directly to trash and not to the target
folder.
Any thoughts?

Pete
