Hi Guenther
I finally got it !!! There was a bogus mozilla in /usr/bin. I did a
search and found the correct mozilla in /usr/local/mozilla. I did an
ln -s mozilla /usr/local/mozilla/mozilla and now I have clickable
links. The one in /usr/bin had an Oct. 3 date on it, which meant it
probably was the 1.0.1 model without any of the backup files to back it
up. The one in /usr/local/mozilla was November 30th. So I linked to it
and Voila ! there it was. Thank you everyone for all the help.

Whey, that problem started on 22.12.2002... And I'm really running out
of ideas...
I changed it to this
[URL Handlers]
default-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
info-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
man-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
ghelp-show=gnome-moz-remote --no-desktop "%s"
http-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
https-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
ftp-show=gnome-moz-remote --newwin "%s"
Some things, that come to mind:
- You don't need entrys for http,... That schould be in default.
- What about those blanks at the beginning of each line? Don't know, if
they are ignored.
- Are rights correct? It is 755 for .gnome and 644 for .gnome/Gnome
here. Should be at least 700 and 600.
Test all manually (console under X, no mozilla running) and tell us, if
and how it works or errors are shown:
% mozilla www.gnome.org
% gnome-moz-remote www.ximian.com
What are the Versions? Where are the executables located?
Sorry for doing something again, but I think that will be essential even
to others to help. And maybe something changed in that time...
Neither one of them worked. I was corresponding with Guenther about
this and forgot to cc the entire group.
I added that most of the time... ;)
