[Evolution] evo 1.4.5 Can't send any mails anymore

hi,

i don't know why, but know i can't send any mails anymore. If i want to send a
mail, evo tells me:

Error while performing operation:
MAIL FROM response error: Syntax error, command unrecognized
===========

In the morgning, there was everything working, i changed nothing, only i
switched back from gnome 2.4 to kde 3.1.4 (without changeing/installing any
program)

System Gentoo 1.4 gcc 3.2.3
Accounts via imap (cyrus) and smtp via Postfix

i tested sended sending mail via terminal, and everything is working.

any suggestion?
