Hi all, I have much appreciated the improvements made in Evo 2.0 to the handling of attachments which are mail messages, as it happens with forwarded mail. Now it's finally possible to reply to the attached message, something very useful. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be possible to move the attachment to a folder since there is no action available as such. While you can save the attachment in a file, it's still missing the envelope header ("From ...") so it's not a valid mailbox file. Therefore, to store an attached message to some folder you still need to do some expert work. Is this by design, or should it be considered a bug/missing feature?
if we added a "From " line, then we'd be munging the data which would be a bug. So by not doing it, we are, in fact, doing the proper thing :) A message and an mbox file are completely separate things. Only mbox uses "From ", none of the other mailbox format does. That said, I believe that there is already a feature request to be able to drag message attachments into folders.
