yes i also think these could the main reason, thanks now i'm doing a
backup and then i'll force the upgrade as suggested ;)

You can try evolution --force-upgrade if that option is still enabled,
but note it will DELETE EVERYTHING in ~/.evolution (the new location -
it wont touch the old data), so if you've already stored new data
there, it will be lost.
