Yeah, virtual folder is a wonderful tool. But I'm still wonder
whether I can get really seperated mbox files? Since I usually need
to backup my mails from some special source, the sperated mbox would
be very convenience to do that. Otherwise, I would have to copy the
whole huge mbox and recreate the virtual folder in the new system.
Thank you.

Hello the list,

if it's possible to separate pop accounts individualy like i did on
thunderbird. How to do it ?
I have evolution version 2.2.2-1 on Debian Sid.
Thanx for your answers and sorry for my english !
Your English is better than my French :)
I'm not 100% sure what you want, but if you want to have evo get mail
from multiple POP accounts this is straight forward.
Tools->settings->mail accounts add for each account. What I suspect you
want is to get these combined in a single virtual inbox (yes ?). In
that case you can do this with virtual folders. Define a virtual folder
(tools->virtual folder editor->add )that references each of your inboxes
and attach any unlikely filter to it (own that won't actually match
anything) and then everything else will appear in a virtual folder
called "unmatched". Alternatively you define a patter that matches
everything (date>1900 ?). Either way you will end up with two virtual
folders one of which has all your combined mail.
Hmmmm... does anyone know of a way to get this effect without creating
two virtual folders?
Russell
