Re: [Evolution] Command Line Options

'Expect' is for scripting interactive console sessions. I doubt it can
be used for scripting Evo.

From the Expect FAQ (http://expect.nist.gov/FAQ.html#q23):

Expect can automate curses-based apps.
Expect can automate selected X-based apps such as xterm.
Expect cannot automate automate arbitrary X-based apps.

Oded,
You might look at the "expect" package, which allows you to
simulate an interactive session. I believe it is based on
the tcl/tk scripting language; it should be easy to find online.
[Caveat: I haven't used it myself]

Hello!

I print my daily calender entry in Evolution every day, and I thought - maybe this
can be done through the command-line options, so I'll only have to put something
like:
evolution -c calender -p [printer]
in the start-up scripts, and I'll have my daily schedule already printed while I'm
having breakfast...
Is this possible?

Thank you,
Oded R.
