[Evolution] Re-installation screwup !

Hi;

Need some help with a self-inflicted screw up.

I had to re-install Fedora 8; /home was a separately mounted partition
therefore I was able to keep most of my non-evolution data.  However,
evolution wanted to re-install itself which I let happen.  Now I have
lost some of my settings and data.  For example the mail is intact but
only my personal address book is recognized.  Other address books are
not.

I have some older (by a week or more) backups (rsync copies) stored.

Is there a simple solution or a specific discussion or text that can
help me recover?
