I just wanted to add that I have absolutely no stability or performance
problems with Evolution Mail. At least not since I gave up on the MAPI
plugin which was causing MASSIVE memory leaks.
Of course I have a very burly system...
OP forgot to add a description of his system, which is:
4 processor x86_64 with 8 Gb Memory
Fairly reliable DSL connection
