The issue: When conducting a search in Evolution's Trash folder, when
Evolution is closed/exited/quit, the search-box doesn't clear itself, so
the next time Evolution is launched, and the Trash folder accessed, the
only items shown are the search results - if there were results.
Slightly annoying, because it's not immediately obvious that a search
was conducted and is still active. - I thought I'd lost all my old
emails, which I like to keep around "just in case"...
As it is right now, the search-box has to be manually cleared.
The search-box should clear on exit/launch - maybe even when switching
from one folder to another - possibly something that could be added to
"preferences"?
The search box changes background colour when active. This was done to
call attention to searches for <space> etc. I think most people find it
sufficient without needing another config option, but that's just my
opinion.
