I am using the evolution-on plugin to provide systray support...
(not
sure why this is not included in Evolution though...)
But I have small problem, not sure if this is the plugin's fault
or
Evolution...
I have preview enabled and on the screen, I see about half of the
screen with a list of my emails and the other half is the
preview..
But when I hide
Evolution in the systray and open it again, the view has changed.
The
email list now takes up 2/3 of the screen and the preview only
1/3.
And this
happends everytime.. Does anyone know if I can workaround this
somehow or perhaps it is a bug that someone needs to fix?
I've never heard of that plugin. Where did you get it? Also, you
don't
say what desktop you're using, nor which version of Evolution this
is.

Sorry, I am using Arch with Openbox and Evolution v 3.16.4
And the plugin was in AUR but you can also find it here:
https://github.com/KostadinAtanasov/evolution-on
(was called evolution-tray before apparently...)
This appears to be a plugin that someone wrote independently of the
Evolution team. It also doesn't seem to have been updated in a year
(the last update is marked for Evo 3.12). You should ask the developer
about any problems with it.

But all this plugin does is to hide and show the evolution window, so didn't think that this would cause any
problem for Evolution and hence that
this would be a Evolution problem?
btw, since you mention "independently of the Evolution team" is there a different plugin I can use?
