The strings returned be freed. 

for (p = conf_list; p != NULL ; p = p->next) {
+                       gconf_xml = (char *) p->data;
+                       g_free (gconf_xml);
+               }
+               g_slist_free (conf_list);
The list should be freed while in the return TRUE block. Please make
the changes and commit the patch.
