Hi
Just wondering if there is any plans to do automatic tagging of pictures
while we do imports.
We already do the date/time.
1) ==================================
But how about tagging Camera, Rotation, F-Number, and other EXIF general
informations.
This could be in invisible tags, that can selectively be made visible if
the user wants it in preference for instance.
I can imagine there would be of interest to be able to be able to filter
on this tags. Especially if you are looking for a portrait picture of a
specific person for instance, or just all pictures taken by a specific
camera etc.
2) ==================================
Also of course, to be able to set more tags during an import. Like
Photografer, copyright, country, location, etc.
3) ==================================
Would also be good to tag the imported pictures with a specific
import-session tag, so you can select all just imported pictures and
only work/view those. As well as previous imported batches (say last
10-30 batches or so). Much easier to work with only 30 pictures than
10.000 when you are setting the tags, renaming pictures etc, adding
titles and other informations etc.
