Screensaver not working

Hi,

I'm trying to use the F-spot photos screensaver on Ubuntu 6.06 using
F-spot 0.3.0 built with ./configure --prefix=/usr. In my system
preferences I chose F-spot photos as the screensaver, and in F-spot
selected the tag to use. When it goes to screensaver, though, the
screen fades to black and that's it, no photos. I do have photos with
the tag I selected.

How can I figure out what's wrong?
