Hi all,
I didn't get any complaints about the time for the first meeting so
its officially scheduled.

Melbourne: 6:30 (the next day, Tues Aug 1)
Maybe it's a stupid question, but I assume this is happening on the IRC
channel? And that I can get the connection info off the website somewhere?
I'll be at work, and my boss and my only other collegue on my team are
both on holidays, so I probably will be running around like mad. If
I'm at my desk, I'll definitely sit in - probably won't be able to be
very active.
Meeting log will be saved and sent to the list for posterity and for
anyone who can't make it.
Can I suggest we set up a page on the wiki for meetings with meeting
logs and times and so forth?
* Overall direction of the project. We need to discuss the direction
we want the project to move in. To be able to make intelligent
decisions about what can and should go in, people need to know what
the plans are.
Definitely agreed - maybe all of this exists in someone's head right now
(Larry?) but it isn't well documented or communicated on the web site
--- at least not anywhere I could find.
* Short-term plans. Basically what do we need to work on in the
immediate future to push F-Spot towards its goals.
Since I'm probably not going to be there - my current big pain point is
the lack of any real searching capability. I've got about 6k images,
and I've got most of them tagged pretty well. The big weakness is
finding the set of images I want to see. I'd like to be able to create
and save searches like "((Tags contains good) or (Tags contains very
good)) and (Tags contains parrot) and (Date is within the last six
months)" This would definitely get my vote for inclusion in the short
term plans.
