With time, the words "GNU" and "Linux" and "GNU/Linux" are becoming synonyms,
even if "GNU/Linux" is preferable to share credit. You can't avoid the
mythological interpretation of people and the evolution of languages.
Alan, with respect to the beauty of your work, the words GNU/Linux belongs to
Humanity, not to a particular person or group of persons registering a
trademark.
In a few years, men will have exhausted oil, gaz, maybe pure water and fresh
air. What will you say then: "trademark"? Does it sound like a powerful
concept for the future?
