You won't want to subscribe to the membership-committee mailing list
right now because it is receiving a lot of membership
applications/renewals mails. And I'm not sure we ever decided if
everybody can subscribe to it or if only members of the membership
committee can...
It was created for membership committee so that they can receive
appln/renewal
