librsvg won't build.

hello all,
I'm trying to build this on a gnome free SuSE 8.1.
512Mb, Athlon 2100XP, its a fairly vanilla system.

But rsvg won't build. It stops here. Any ideas why?

I loved gnome 1.4 and want to get back to gnome now, but suse seems to hate it 
so i want to do it myself. either that or wait for ximian, but i'm impatient.
