I've just checked http://www.kde.org/info/3.1.html; they seem to be
providing consistent tarballs (bz2'ed) with everything needed. There
are no mirrors (since it's alpha), but it's there and I'm guessing they
won't throw the tarballs off unexpectedly... Have they ever done that
before? http://download.kde.org/unstable/ contains beta versions of
koffice 1.2, so I'm guessing not.
