Beginners question

Hello out there,

I'm a newbie, but I like to have new software, and therefore downloaded 
garnome. I have build it sucessfully (I think - I got no error 
messages). Now, where is the damm thing and how do I start it? (I have 
read to faq file, but honestly, I am still clueless). I am using 
Mandrake 9.0 and have downloaded the garnome-0.18.3 directory into the 
home directory. I went root and did the build script.
