Thanks for this, really useful. I'm just starting to integrate a bunch of
bootstrapping stuff for people building on weird or old platforms, so soon
you wont have to bother about some of the build-oriented dependencies you
don't get with some proprietary unices.
Some comments:
* If you can find out which modules assume 'make' (other than my screwup
with freetype), I would really like to hear about them.
* The gtk+ and pango problems will be fixed in the next release.
* When there's an update to software in GARNOME that you like, please tell
me -> I've updated bluefish for the next release. Also, "make makesum"
is useful here. :-)
* Please post build issues with other modules to their respective bugzilla
modules!
