Unresolved references FT_Stream

Hi,

I'm trying to compile gnomeMeeting with
RedHat 7.3
gcc 3.1
First with garnome 0.17, then with garnome 0.20

In both cases during the link-stage I received these errors:

/u/garnome/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so: undefined reference to
`FT_Stream_GetShort'
/u/garnome/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so: undefined reference to
`FT_Stream_ExitFrame'
/u/garnome/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so: undefined reference to
`FT_Stream_GetLong'
/u/garnome/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so: undefined reference to
`FT_Stream_Seek'
/u/garnome/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so: undefined reference to
`FT_Stream_EnterFrame'

Can anybody tell me where to find these classes/methods, or some idea
why the linker is not finding them ?
