It's not a Garnome dependency. For some reason the configure script in
the libxml2 package keeps looping. I just tested it here and it works
without a hitch.

It looks a little strange. Have you tried 'make clean' in the libxml2
garball? Maybe it's because your directory is automounted and there is
something strange there? Is the time on your system stable? Besides
looking at those things I have no idea. Just wanted to note that it's
not a loop in Garnome dependencies.
