Yes, under /usr/java/jdk1.5.0. I've even made sure that /usr/java/jdk1.5.0/bin
is in my command search path, and that that's where the java command is found.

I've restarted the whole thing from scratch, i.e. untarring garnome-2.8.1 into
a clean directory, and still get the problem.
