Dear Gome Guru's
Since the upgrade to gnome-system-tools-2.9.4 I get this error
checking for libgnome-2.0 >= 2.0.0 libgnomeui-2.0 >= 2.0.0 gconf-2.0 >=
1.1.5 libgtop-2.0 >= 2.9.4 libwnck-1.0 >= 2.5.0 gtk+-2.0 >= 2.5.0
gnome-vfs-2.0 >= 2.6.0 libgnomesu-1.0 >= 0.9.3... Package libgnomesu-1.0
was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libgnomesu-1.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libgnomesu-1.0' found
configure: error: Library requirements (libgnome-2.0 >= 2.0.0
libgnomeui-2.0 >= 2.0.0 gconf-2.0 >= 1.1.5 libgtop-2.0 >= 2.9.4
libwnck-1.0 >= 2.5.0 gtk+-2.0 >= 2.5.0 gnome-vfs-2.0 >= 2.6.0
libgnomesu-1.0 >= 0.9.3) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH
environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so
pkg-config can find them.
make[1]: ***
[configure-work/main.d/gnome-system-monitor-2.9.4/configure] Error 1
make: *** [paranoid-install] Error 2
The package now seems to need libgnomesu which can be found on the gnome
website. Would it be possible to add this to the garnome tool set or
disable the features so that the requirement drops. The package does
seem to need root access to the system for it's install which may be an
issue for the install process ?
Thanks in advance for investigating the options,
Stef
