thanks a lot.....though i had forgotten about it....Actually i had
tried a lot to install gnome2.10, but i was always getting some error
or the other...so finally i gave up....But I dont have the machine
right now.....I will have it in the beginning of the next
month......So only then will I be able to do whatever you have
suggested.....So possibly next month i will get back to you if i am
not able to install it properly.....

PS: you might receive this mail twice....i had sent one mail with the
same contents(without this P.S.) but that time(2 days back) i was not
subscribed and so that mail was awaiting moderator approval.....
