Missing menus

Hi all,
After a bit of wrestling, I finally got all of 2.10.0 installed on my
RH9 box at work. One problem though. The menus are non-existant.
Well, on the panel there's 'Applications', 'Places', and 'Desktop', but
the only thing in the 'Applications' menu is the run dialog. Is there
some command I need to run to populate the menus?
