Hello MArtijn,

I remember finding interesting information as well as example files for 
new languages on the GNOME Bugzilla (component gtksourceview).

To me, everything that was needed was to add the language spec and it 
would be detected at runtime by the application using gtksourceview (in 
my case gedit).
Note that I speak of gtksourceview, its library may be different.
