[gDesklets] no plotter output in sidecandy:network

Hi there. I am an absolute newbie at gdesklets; first one I installed
was was sidecandy:network v0.10. I observe that the code attempts to
show two plotters , one for each of input and output history, but I see
no output for those items. 

I have attempted several modifications to the network.display script,
but to no effect. It is as though the plotter item just does nothing. 

Is this a known problem?
